Training Resources

It’s expected that an entrepreneur must wear many hats and be proficient in a wide range of business tasks in order to run a small business.  It is also inevitable that as an entrepreneur, you will run across situations that you will be unprepared for and need additional training to accomplish.  The TIC has numerous training resources on-site in addition to an experienced staff for consultation, especially being located at a college.

Here are a few of the training resources we have available:

Business Library

Subscriptions to current tech/business magazines (view a list at About > Library > Magazines)

Top business reference books cataloged in HCC's William M. Brish Library (view a list at About > Library > Books)

Network of Local Resources

An external network of resources specifically for small businesses that includes Hagerstown Community College as well as other local resources

Business Seminars and Workshops

Periodic business & marketing seminars by local professionals (for a schedule, view the Hagerstown Entrepreneur Meet Up Group - NEW WINDOW)
