The Technical Innovation Center (TIC) provides technical,
business development, and location opportunities to existing and potential businesses
and encourages industrial and technical innovation and commercialization. No
potential tenant will be discriminated against by virtue of his/her/their age,
race, creed, color or sex.
The Technical Innovation Center welcomes the opportunity to consider
applications and business plans from potential tenants that are start-up or
high-growth companies in the following areas (highest consideration will be
given to users of the broadband capacity of the incubator, the Advanced Technology
(ATC) manufacturing resources or other campus resources):
Applied research and development: technical feasibility studies,
prototype development and process development.
Information Technologies
Light manufacturing.
Electronic component assembly.
Product development (market driven).
Seeking an initial in-country base from outside the United
States of America that will directly benefit the regional economy.
Firms with high-growth potential (in less than 18 months)
as relocation of new facilities progress.
Other business ideas that merit consideration.
Businesses that have a good chance of commercialization.
Applicants to the incubator agree to periodic reviews of
the firm’s progress as a condition of continued assistance.
The TIC manager or designee will discuss the business idea with
the entrepreneur(s) to determine whether the potential applicant meets the entrance
criteria listed above. If so, we will provide all possible assistance in preparing
the application.
