Ineligible Tenants and Operations

By nature of it stated purpose, the TIC does not generally permit the following types of businesses as tenants:

  • Food operations.
  • High customer traffic retail or wholesale conducted on-site (defined as resale to consumers of products manufactured elsewhere).
  • Heavy manufacturing.
  • Firms that are primarily personal or professional service organizations.
  • Non-employer based firms.
  • Operations that may produce safety, noise or environmental concerns.
  • Others that are deemed to not be in the best interest of HCC.

The TIC manager or designee will discuss the business idea with the entrepreneur(s) to determine whether the potential applicant meets the entrance criteria listed above. If so, we will provide all possible assistance in preparing the application.
